Leather Care
Leather Care
At Banjara Gear, our products are made from premium leather designed to travel with you.
Leather is a living material — it develops character through use. Scratches, marks, and a deepening color are all part of the journey, creating a patina that makes every piece uniquely yours.
With a little care, your leather will age beautifully and stay with you for years.
Embrace the Journey
Your Banjara piece is built for movement — daily carry, long trips, and everything in between. Natural marks and creases are part of the story your leather tells over time.
Rather than trying to keep leather perfect, we believe in letting it age with character.
Restore the Leather
Over time, leather can dry out — especially after long journeys and exposure to different climates. Conditioning helps restore its richness and flexibility.
We recommend using Banjara Leather Balm, a natural beeswax blend designed to nourish and revitalize your leather.
Before

To apply:
-Take a clean microfiber cloth or soft foam applicator.

-Lightly rub the foam/cloth against the wax to pick up a small amount.

-Apply the wax to the leather in gentle circular motions, spreading it evenly across the surface.

-Allow the leather to absorb the wax for a few minutes.
-Use a clean part of the cloth to buff the leather lightly, restoring its natural sheen.
After

A small amount goes a long way. Regular conditioning will help keep your leather supple and ready for the road.
Cold Weather Tip
Because Banjara Leather Balm is made with natural beeswax, it may harden in colder environments. If the wax feels too firm or difficult to apply, gently warm the container using indirect heat (such as keeping it in a warm room or holding it in your hands for a few minutes). Once the wax softens slightly, it will apply smoothly and evenly.
Let It Age Naturally
Sunlight, movement, and use will slowly change the tone of the leather. This natural aging process is what creates the beautiful patina that makes leather goods so unique.
No two Banjara pieces age the same — each one reflects the paths it has traveled.
Store When Not Traveling
When your leather isn’t on the road, store it in a cool, dry place away from excessive humidity.
A well-traveled leather piece tells a story — and the best ones are written over time.
